Dr. Brian Samsell brings 20 years of experience leading person-centered research, scientific strategy, and complex medical communications to Phoenix Rising Communications.

With a PhD in Translational Health Science from George Washington University, Dr. Samsell has built his career around making complex science meaningful. His expertise spans Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Real-World Evidence (RWE), clinical research, and translational science, with a focus on transforming complex data into clear, strategic, and impactful communications that support scientific understanding and better patient care.

His therapeutic experience includes oncology, immunology, neuroscience, infectious disease, aesthetics, medical devices, and wound healing. This breadth gives Dr. Samsell a uniquely cross-disciplinary perspective and allows him to help teams connect scientific rigor with the larger clinical and strategic story behind the data.
